Tasting Two Menus at Sticks 'n' Sushi Berlin
I recently visited Sticks ‘n’ Sushi in Berlin and tried their “As Good As It Gets” menu, which offered an outstanding array of dishes. The meal started with grilled edamame.
Highlights included the Hotate Kataifi, where scallops were wrapped in crispy kataifi with miso aioli and trout roe, and Wagyu Bites, featuring rich wagyu tartare on toast with shiso and wasabi.
The Tuna Tartare with avocado and yuzu-miso, served with crispy flatbread, was refreshing, while the Shake Carpaccio was light and satisfying. The Maguro Tataki, lightly seared tuna with yuzu-kosho and soy sesame, offered an impressive mix of flavors, and the Hiramasa Kataifi, crispy hiramasa with truffle oil, was truly unforgettable.
The sushi rolls, including the Aka Ebi House Roll, Ebi Panko, and Hell’s Kitchen, were standout dishes, each offering bold and delicious flavors.
I also tried another menu, the “Four Meal Drive,” which impressed with well-prepared sushis like Spicy Tuna, Ebi (shrimp),Nanban and Pink Alaska, along with Nigri.
